Modelled after the popular game “Wordle,” this game gets students dragging letters one at a time in order to guess the secret word!
Avoid the red letters, and find all of the green letters to spell the complete, five-letter word! Use the number clue on the green letters to place the letter in the correct position!
Word Turtle is a perfect way for young ESL students to practice recognizing letters, spelling complete words, and even learning a few new words in the process!
This download includes an .edb file containing the game board, an official Word Turtle “skin” to add a beach background to the game in ClassIn, gameplay instructions, and a few hints to help guide students through the game. There is also a .pdf file explaining how to upload and use .edb files in the ClassIn teaching platform, plus a .pdf file explaining how to use the ClassIn skin file.
